All of Ristoattrezzature’s chilled drinks display cabinets are professional-grade units, fitted with shelves or racks for storing drinks, and available in a range of capacities, materials and sizes to meet all your needs. In our online shop, you can find: refrigerated display cabinets with roll-bond cooling, ranging from 52 to 115 litres in capacity; single vertical refrigerated display cabinets with a capacity of up to 368 litres; and double vertical refrigerated display cabinets with a capacity of 800 litres.

Refrigerated display cabinets are an essential addition to your bar’s furnishings, ideal for use as refrigerated back-of-counter units or as refrigerated display cabinets for self-service areas: these products combine the convenience of refrigeration and storage for drinks and food with the benefit of product display, clearly visible through the glass, without the need to open the door.

What does refrigeration mean?

Refrigeration is a process that involves lowering the temperature of a given space below ambient temperature. The generation of cold is of fundamental importance in food preservation and has replaced the traditional techniques used to prevent food spoilage (such as salting or drying), which commonly altered the nutritional and organoleptic qualities of the food.

The development of food refrigeration has truly revolutionised eating habits and food consumption, broadening the range of available foods thanks to the extension of their shelf life. Errors in the correct management of food storage temperatures are the main cause of foodborne illnesses: to reduce the risk of serving food contaminated with harmful bacteria, it is therefore essential to carefully avoid errors in storage, cooking, blast chilling and holding temperatures.

What is the difference between static refrigeration and ventilated refrigeration with roll-bond?

From a technical point of view, the main difference between refrigerated display cabinets lies precisely in the refrigeration mechanism. You can choose between static and forced-air refrigerated display cabinets with roll-bond:

  • Static refrigerated display cabinets utilise a tried-and-tested refrigeration technique: only the walls of the cabinet are cooled by a refrigerant gas that is pumped into the internal circuit by a compressor.
  • Ventilated refrigerated display cabinets with roll-bond are fitted with a fan specifically designed to circulate air inside the cabinet: this ensures a uniform temperature throughout the display cabinet, maintaining the correct level of humidity and allowing drinks to be placed on any shelf.
